Countdown begins for Austria’s Premier Reining Event: $80,000-added AustrianRHA Futurity & NRHA Show at Wiener Neustadt from August 19 until 22, 2015 First Deadline for Entries: June 19, 2015
From August 19 until 22, 2015, the facility of H&D Schulz Quarter Horses in Wiener Neustadt, Austria, will host again one of the most prestigious reining events of Europe: the Austrian Reining Horse Association (ARHA) Futurity and NRHA Show. There is a total purse of $80,000-added with $ 30,000-added in the Level 4 Open, 3-year-old horses alone. Besides the Futurity classes, there is a full slate Ancillary show. The first deadline of entries is June 19, 2015. Entries after this date will be accepted, but a late entry fee will have to be charged.
The AustrianRHA Futurity for 3-and 4-year-old horses is open to all horses. There are four levels in the NRHA approved Open Futurity 3-year-old horses and three in the Non Pro.The Ancillary classes are part of the ARHA Circuit. The judges are Eugenio Latorre, Pierre Ouellet, Adi Wagner, Francois Zurcher and Sylvia Katschker, the equipment judge being Tomas Barta.
Of course, there will be the daily show magazine again: The Score. This magazine has always been highly appreciated by the exhibitors and owners present as well by internet users looking at the online version on the Futurity website www.futurity.at and on www.westernstar.at as well as in other internet horse media.
The AustrianRHA Futurity has always attracted considerable media attention. Each year, international horse publications report about this event, as do the local media. In 2014, a television team was present during the event which resulted in the 29 minute film „Feicht on Tour in Wiener Neustadt” presented on W24 – a channel ranking on 5th place in UPC Telekabel after ORF, ATV and Puls4. There was so much positive feedback, that the film was shown eleven times on various days and at various times reaching about 200,000 people (according to Teletest). The online edition via www.feicht.at shows 54,237 visits since its first publication, 3 per cent of them from the U.S.
